It is one of our favourites as it is dog friendly and the food is always great. The french cuisine menu is amazing and the staff is warm and welcoming.
We had a father's day lunch. The food was lovely. The Sunday roast was perfect. The chicken was soft and tasty. The customer service is excellent. We will definitely return again. We had a wonderful afternoon sitting outside in the sun eating our delicious meal.
A lovely bar and restaurant, situated in a nice atmosphere. I really enjoyed my first visit to the Barley Mow which was recommended by a friend. Her rave reviews were worth it as the food in the restaurant was delicious. The restaurant is tucked away comfortably behind the pub area with a good number of tables with additional seating outside. They also cater to man's best friend too as they offer treats at the bar. This place has atmosphere and all food and drink are at high levels. The cost of everything is also not that bad when compared to other places with the quality of food and ingredients you receive. The staff are on point with the service and as it gets busier they don't forget you are there and need service. I will for sure become a repeat customer to this place for sure.
Service was impeccable, the food was glorious, much much more than traditional pub grub, although they do have special offers - a burger and pint for 20, which had fancy toppings and looked tasty. The menu selection is just right and changes seasonally, everything we ate was cooked to perfection, kooked fabulous and was delicious. Portion sizes are good too, a real gem of a place!
On the 6th May went too the barley mow for our wedding anniversary. Our daughter had bought a package from virgin experience. It was the best present. The staff, food and the location were wonderful. Staff were attentive the food was brilliant Had a lovely night. As it's not far from us will go again.
Our second visit in 18 months, well worth the drive from afar.. food, service and atmosphere are 1st rate. Sat in the outdoor ‘Tent’ today, lovely breeze making the whole experience wonderful, Thank you, a defo from us, thank you again p.s.. and you can bump into people you know from elsewhere
Lovely atmosphere and good service. Dog friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. The onion soup very delicious and the pork ribeye very tender.
A lovely lunch, great roasts and duck breast. Service was fantastic and the desserts were to die for.
